Well it took me a really long time to finish this. In fact I just spent about a little more than 2 hours for coloring as usual. The chronophage is the sketch. Perspective and anatomy are just hell on earth =__=. Don't blame me please, I tried my best orz.
This is a different kind of watercolor pad from the one I usually use (very thin canson) The texture looks defferent, no ? xD I feel more comfprtable on this one <3.
I feel like talking a little more about the character, Maki-san. You must have seen me drawing him a lot before, no ? <3 The story happens in 2060. Maki-san is an inspector leadingThe National Research Institute of Police Science, the Ninth Department of Forensic Research. for short, the 9th. They look at dead people's memory to solve crimes.
He has a young and feminin lookbut in fact he's pretty old, I mean really. He never smiles, people believe that that is because of the incident years ago, when Maki have killed his best friend. It was appropriate self-defense. However he can't forgive himself because he IS both direct and indirect cause of his friend's death.
Well he loved that person
That book he always hold when sleeping, is told to contain a gun to shot himself when needed. He wears bulletproof vest all the time too so that he could only die from a shot in the head. He won't let anyone look in his mind even after death. That person has a lot of secrets to protect. And he have seen a lot of people's too.
